Y E S H U R U N:

Music to Help You Ascend

Who we are

Yeshurun is the worship band from Congregation Beth Lechem near Columbia, South Carolina.

Our music varies in style and includes traditional Hebraic sounds, as well as modern approaches. Our songs are in English, Hebrew, and often both. We use ONLY the original Scriptural names, YAHWEH and Yahshua, for the Father and the Messiah. The name Yeshurun is Hebrew and means "they will be upright". Yeshurun is YAHWEH's "pet" name for a unified Israel.

Yeshurun's first CD "YHWH Ekhad" includes:

The purpose of this section is to give music/instrument related information to musicians interested in our songs. Before you start note that all songs are tuned 1/2 step flat.

This means that instead of tuning your guitar (or bass) to: E A D G B E
you must tune it to: Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb

Sample song:

Hoshianah

Dm - Bb - C - F - G7

This song is short, simple, & to the point. Enjoy!
